In class, we talked about Mexicans that are in America illegally.
I say good for them.
Kimberly says we should kill them all.
Sara says we should build a wall between Mexico & America.
Well you know what?
I say, get the hell over yourselves. Just because you all are lazy Americans doesn't mean that you have to kick honest, hardworking Mexicans that are trying to live a better life out of our country, which sucks anyway.
I have NEVER met a lazy Mexican in my life. I've met crude Mexicans, obnoxious, loud, rude, mean Mexicans, but NEVER a lazy Mexican who refused to work hard.
Let me just go racist for a moment & give you these three scenarios:
1. There's trash on a lunchroom table. The superintendant of the school asks the average white American to clean it. He responds with, 'well, it's not my trash.' The superintendant asks again, only to get the same answer. She asks again, and receives, 'I guess I'll clean it.'
2. There's trash on a lunchroom table. The superintendant of the school asks the average black American to clean it. He responds with, 'it's not my trash.' The superintendant asks again, only to get the same answer. She asks again, and gets the same answer. She asks again and gets the same answer. It never gets cleaned by him.
3. There's trash on a lunchroom table. The superintendant of the school asks the average Mexican to clean it. He responds with, 'yeah, sure, no problem,' his trash or not.
The first two scenarios are true stories.
The moral of the scenario is that the average white person will clean it, after asked multiple times. The average black person won't. The average Mexican will do it no questions asked.
I'm not saying that there aren't black people who would've just cleaned it, because there are. There are white people that would've just cleaned it. But in comparison, we're completely lazy, and they're, well, completely not.
I'm not racist at all, so if you interpret it that way, you're terribly wrong.
Sara also said something that bothered me, about how Mexicans would come to America illegally only to get a job, injure themselves purposely to get workman's comp, and then return home to Mexico perfectly fine to give the money to your family.
THIS IS NOT TRUE.
Yes, I'm sure that there are Mexicans who do that. There are white people that do that. There are black people that do that. There are Asians who do that. There are Brits who do that. There are Australians who do that, but saying that eleven million people come to our country to steal our money is "a fact" is dreadfully wrong.
The real story is this: eleven million Mexicans come to America, do a damn good job of building our houses, cleaning our hotels, doing our drywall, our laundry, our dishes, cooking our food, landscaping, and anything else they can do to get the smallest bit of money to send home to their families.
They're not trying to make a better life in America.
They're trying to make a better life in Mexico.
They're not liars, they're not cheaters. We're not wasting our money on them.
And I sure as hell don't want to hear some misinformed, prejudice freshman talk about how much we should kick them out of our country or kill them all, because America would be a hell of a lot better, if there were eleven million more, so I say, let them come.
We also talked about genetic engineering, which I think is a very, VERY bad idea.
First of all, they use dead cows to inject bacteria into living cows to increase milk production. There's more to it than that, but that's the jist of it.
I don't want to drink milk with dead cow brain bacteria in it.
Second of all, they're using it as a treatment for dwarfism. These people were born that way. They don't need any sort of "medicine" or "hormone" to alter their metabolisms just so they can look William Beckett in the eye. Short people > tall people, anyway.
Anyway, I don't think I really have anything to say other than go Mexicans and screw scientists.
